While nothing on the site constitutes investing or financial advice, it is true that many investors use coverage here to help inform their decisions.
We take this responsibility seriously. Unlike other platforms, this site is not investment agnostic, which means that we will only work with companies that have at least a reasonable chance of delivering substantial returns to shareholders.
This involves a judgment call which will be made by the team. We are perfectly happy to cover everything from non-revenue generating microcap explorers all the way up to large mining operators.
But we won't work with companies which exist solely to enrich their directors, or who do not treat their investors with respect.
Fundamentally, these are the criteria for any agreement:
- the company in question has a realistic prospect of delivering for investors.
- we are able to cover all aspects of the investment case, including the risks.
- we can ask any questions in interviews with no restrictions unless regulatory.
- we would buy shares in the company at the current market capitalisation.
In particular, we like to see businesses where directors have injected a reasonable amount of their own capital into the business. If you expect investors to back your project, you must first back it yourself.
